TPS part No# 3131591??

Here in Canada the dealer wants $180.00 for this TPS sensor.

It seems to be the same number for all the CFI motors for al l the years.

The question I have is .... Has anyone found an aftermarket replacement for this sensor?

Or is there a automobile manufacture that uses this same sensor?

I am just looking for a more cost effective alternative (I'm cheap)

May be cheaper for ya..

Why is there so little info on the internet on these TPS sensors?

I heard that the Arctic cat TPS is the same??

The polaris TPS is made by Mikuni in Japan and there is no info if this sensor is used on any other motorized vehicles.

I've looked into this in detail in the past

Talked to Mikuni themselves (maker of the TPS).

It is used on the Polaris sleds, Ski Doo Carbed sleds and some super bike stuff as well... all in the same ballpark for price.. not a high volume part...
