TPS on Apex giving funny readings

I have an '07 Apex with a Boondocker turbo that I have yet to get on the snow (but that will change soon). However, in getting it ready to go, we changed the box from a boondocker to an attitude box and I checked the TPS settings through the dash diagnostics.

I have read that it is supposed to read 16 at idle and 96 at wide open. If I set it at 16 for the idle, then the highest I can possibly get with it wide open is about 85 (and that's manually stretching the cable as tight as it will go.

If I set the wide open setting at 96, then the idle setting is about 31 with the cable having slack.

Is this a bad TPS sensor or is it probably something else wrong? Help!

its the attitude box. not to worry though, everythings ok. because of the extra wiring and load on the stock wiring system, it gives a funny reading to the tps. what u should do is plug the stock system back in and set the tps according to yamaha specs. now plug the attitude box back in and dont f with it anymore. happy turbo-ing!

I wondered if that could be the case, so I took out the attitude box and was getting the exact same readings

I grabbed a new tps from the dealer and installed it today...it goes from 16 to 98 just like it should! With or without the Attitude box it's the same, so apparently it doesn't affect the readings.

Finally got on the snow late in the day and it runs great!
