start with the easy part install the new one. then you need to take three batterys (aa) link them together and connect a lead of each end, measure the volts produced. multiply that by 0.136. connect the negative side of your battery to the pin the black wire hits positive to the blue pin adjust the tps till the voltage read from digital multi meter matches what the batteries produce when connected to the - black + to yellow.
the other way may be to put the sensor on go to diagnostic mode on your guage select throttle position and adjust so it reads 14-18 at idle 94-100 at full throttle. Not how they recomend to do it but may work.

You got lucky then, if it is out of adjustment it will throw code 84 because it thinks the throttle bodies are open, thats what mine did when I installed it. you may also not be showing full open. julio

TPS = throttle positions sensor...
TORS = throttle override sensor...
