Stabilant 22

I have used the Stabilant 22 on many connectors in the aviation field, it acts as kind of a cleaner as well as a contact promoter. It is expensive but I have had very good results using t in many types of connectors. It is very thin as it is or can be mixed with Isopropanol and brshed on. It will not float pins and it makes contact much better.

Where would a guy find Stabilant 22?

Stabilant

I usually order it on the internet. I like the concentrate and mix it with alcohol. They say that as the resistance starts to increase, it somehow starts to make a better contact. I don't know how it does it but it does appear to work very well.

Replaced a bad glowplug in a higher mileage dmax and then had another issue on that new plug, same code but acted differently, thought the new OEM glowplug was bad, so replaced it again, issue was still there - then this solved the resistance issue immediately. Just applied to the connection. Weird stuff, very pricey. Great tip.

Mating connector, for the 2014+ "flying lead tps", is a Sumitomo 6180-3241... but I don't have a source for it.

This is for the WIRING HARNESS SIDE of the TPS... NOT the tps itself... ie, this is what the "flying lead tps" plugs into on the harness.

It might be on this page... but I don't have a "flying lead TPS" to compare.

Is this it???

I have ordered this connector and it does not match the 2014+ TPS. Do you know a part number that does?
