Somebody school me on this. How I understand it. TPS can be adjusted with the polaris wrench. What about the power valve adjustment? I don't feel my power vales are working properly. But I was told all they can do is flash it. Is that correct?

The TPS can be adjusted with or without the Digital wrench. The TPS is just a variable voltage signal to the ECM.
The power valves are are not like that, they are basically a 3 step motor. You MUST use the digital wrench to make any changes to them. They are not "adjustable" , the only thing they can do is perform a relearn procedure and make sure the ECM has the latest software. Eric

TPS is best adjusted from scratch if you search the procedure on here. The digi wrench way of doing tps is just a "within ballpark" and can still make sled run crappy without codes. Mine for instance had reverse for first 100 miles approximately and after that no reverse but dealer said was within spec, so I did procedure from scratch on my own and sled woke uo and also had reverse back.

As for the valve adjustment. You hook sled up to digi wrench and it relearns the exhaust valves.

So will the relearn of the power valves mess with any other values of the ecm? How I'm understanding from my dealer. They have to flash my em for the relearn.

They can do a relearn with out doing a reflash. The relearn is a normal function of the digital wrench. Basically it cycles the valve through its range of travel to "learn" the fully open and fully closed positions.

If they flash (update the ecm software) the computer its going to install the latest software version for your sled, which will include other changes as well, not just power valve data. Eric
