if the manual says .93 - .96 Have you had better luck at .698? Can I ask why you set it at .698? Im not asking because I think your wrong Im just wondering. Trying to learn something. My sled has a slight stumle at 5-10% throttle / 4700 - 5500 rpm. Hoping that adjusting the TPS will help

1. disconnect the throttle cable from the flipper
I'm confused by that step myself. It seems you would keep it connected or once you do reconnect it the setting would be off. Also, isn't there a ready for once the throttle is pinned? Something like .40000?
