Ya, so far I have only seen ONE XXC

I have some seat time on a new Xxc and a 08 700 Raptor and the only area the Raptor shines over the Xxc is jumping IMO. The Xxc is a much heavier wheeler (no surprise) and if you like big air the Raptor is a better option. The power on the Xxc is insane. If you spend all your time in the sand, than I could see the raptor. But if your looking for an all around machine than go with the Xxc. My neighbor has one with 3 sets of tires; a set of ITP XTR's, a set of 29.5" outlaws and a set of sand tires. No matter the conditions or terrain this thing just performs and in total stock form has tons of power.

I gotta be honest that can am is awesome.

P.S. I hope you don't end up with a $5800 die cast of a renegade or something. That price seems WAY to good to be true.

At my age, "Big Air" is a thing of the past!
Can't afford the BIG INJURY that comes along with it any more! :face-icon-small-sho

Most of our hours last summer were at the St. Anthony Dunes, but we also got some trail riding in at Island Park and Kelly's Canyon. There is a HUGE amount of trail riding we have not yet explored though.

I see Plenty of Raptors on the dunes, no doubt about that, but I also see them on all the local trails.

Here it's kind of rare to see a Raptor at all. I would bet that 90% of the atvs here are 4wd but when you live in the land of 10,000 lakes there is a lot of wet land. The Raptors are fun and a lot better price too but that Can-am is just plain sick!

Oh and note I never said you couldn't get "big air" on the Can-Am........You just have to think about what your doing and what your on when you come back down to earth a bit more. :thumb:

I have to think that jumping one of the Can-Ams would be a memorable experience. That is a LOT or machine to launch up into the air compared to a Raptor.

2010 Yamaha Raptor = 422 pounds
Can-Am Renegade Xxc = 614 pounds

Wow, that whole thing just screams SCAM to me....

I too would vote for the 4x4... much more versatile and rider friendly in the end I would think unless you just wanna jump it.
