How is the SLP torque arm part #23-53 different from the stock one. Is it justified to spend the $79 when there is one already on. 03 700 vertical edge, I have already purchased the push arm and new harder engine mounts but Im not sure if the aftermarket torque arm is necessary. Thanks

The torque arm mounts directly to the front of the engine and ties it to the chassis, 2 heim ends,

The factory torque stop is a rubber snubber mounted to the chassis with an air gap between it and the case.

Thanks Kraven, I havent seen one on a sled so I wasnt sure but i will order one now. The one I look at was in the HPE catalogue and it looked like the stock version, but in the SLP book it looks just like you described.

The limiter is actually manufactured by WMS if I remember correctly, and sold by SLP, TRI-CITY POLARIS and others.

It's a nice, neat E-Z install, no extra holes to drill into your sled.

You may have to supply your own (2) metric bolts that thread into the engine case.

Its worth the $ in my opinion, with the other 2 you have they are just snubbers, while great not as good as the torque arm. The tighter you can hold that motor the better your clutching will be and the longer your belts will last.

Start pushing 200+ horses through those clutches and the motor moves a lot.

I used the Prox stock limiter on the front on my WC1200. 265 hp with a 60 shot, worked perfect. I like the Prox limiter as it is a rubber insulated hiem joint.
