One of my riding partners just got a new sled. We usually ride at about 9-10,000 alt. Post your mod experiences. We'd appreciate it. I know he's getting a Team clutch and jackshaft.

The TEAM is a waste of big cash IMO.

#1. Gear Change
#2. HPS Can
#3. Primary Pin Weight
#4. Hand Guards, YES hand guards, these are cold Damn sleds!
#5. Not a mod, BUT VERY imporatnt.......... is CORRECT SET-UP!

I work at a Doo shop and ride the demo XP. Now if I owned one, I would definately get a different jackshaft.....but put a Cat secondary on it.

Drill and weld the driveshaft.

Gear down with the proper gears(if you've seen some of the deflection on some sleds you'd know)

Pipe and Can(I prefer CPI right now)

Terra Alps Head and y-pipe

Quick Clickers

600RS Airbox

Float Evols up front

Holz Rear skid

Holz gas rack

R&M Vent Kit

Some bling.

Trygstad Head & Porting
Carb Bore
K&N Filters
HPS Can

Team Secondary W/Twin Track Progessive Helix
Heavy Hitter Rollers
Renton Ti Springs

Fox Shocks
Heavier Rear Torsion Springs
R&M Vents.

Results : smoking fast track speed

head, y pipe, can, airbox mods and the new 377 belt. mine runs very, very strong, no regear and back to factory pin weight! runs on clicker 2 up top and 1 down low! gotta love it!

flow

dyno port y pipe, pipe, dyno tuned silencer. Flow rites in top air box. 2 cool clutch vents (or others). fbp accellerator kit really works well in the drive, but I remember reading earlier this season that the qrs driven when adjusted properly delivers roughly 3 or 4 more horse to the ground than the team secondary

600 box NO WORKY on 800's....doesnt fit carbs (different) nor clear gas tank or clutch...BONDI box or 2 flow rites...

the rest sounds good...BJ

Jackshaft is not a mod, its warrantied. The TEAM is a waste of big cash IMO.

How is the jackshaft warrantied? I haven't heard of that one.

I have installed a vent kit on both sides
I have a HPS can
I have the flowrites in the back of the airbox
I hate the secondary set-up. I don't like the fact that I gotta jerk the whole thing out just to change jets. And I gotta do it again once VForce III makes some reeds.
The dealer has changed the clutching, but I don't know what he's running in there.
I am gonna change the top gear to a 19t, dealer said that he'll pay for that
I am also gonna change the shocks to Floats

Original Tetonice,

What Renton Ti springs are you using? I've looked at the website and nothing seems right. Did you have some custom made? If so, how much?

Thanks a bunch,

T

1. Hand guards
2. Can (I run MBRP)
3. Any and all updates (Belt, clutch, handwarmers and rear bumper bolts)
4. Flow rites in air box under the headlights.
5. HID headlights, yep I run 'em

you're set.
I have, on top of all that, (2) wheel kit, vents, gas can, fanny pack (mounted on gas can), snow eliminators, ice scratchers, trim the snow flap to the creased mold line, drill out bogey rivets and install stainless bolts and oil free bushings in a-arms. :face-icon-small-ton:clock:

1. changed gearing, belt, and clutching (warranty)
2. fresh air intake
3. welded driveshaft
4. MBRP can
5. DJ helix

Must do repairs don't count..IMO
So first things first get the warranty work done.
