Top 2 mods for a 2005 highmark 1000 ?

How much easier are these to sidehill and carve with the sway bar out? I am looking at picking one up on friday.

I have a bad memory, but I'd say a fair bit easier with it removed. With the sway bar the sled really wanted to stay flat with the terain, which was nice when cornering on the trail, but kinda sucked on a side hill. You can easily remove the bar in one piece by just drilling out the rivits in the small plastic panel/bushings where the bar enters the sled and work it out,,, Try it both ways, it's really a personal preference,,, put it back if ya want (it was 2.2# I think). With the sway bar removed, trail riding is a little hairy with fresh carbides on the Mods,,, standard rods or worn carbides are fine thou,

Sled is alot easier to side hill or carve without the sway bar...but terrible on the trails...I had mine removed and then out back in cause im on trails all the time...if your in 3 ft or deeper snow its no big deal if it is out or in...also an offset axle kit...outting 2 wheels on the inside and none on the outside helps alot for carving and side hilling...

I have a TSS can on my RT...tss can weighs 4.2 pounds and stock can weighs 23lbs...

and when you remove the sway bar you will have to take off the skid plate if any...and then on the ends of the sway bar there is plastic tubes...just twist those off and then you dont have to drill out the rivots on the plastic pieces on the side....

when you look at it you will understand more what we mean...

Thanks guys

Removing the sway bar really helps but only if you go with 50lb. heavier front shock springs. They're available from doo and are reasonable.
I tried turning up the adjustments with the stock springs but it didn't perform the way I wanted.
