Tool to help when stuck alone

I saw a product on here last year that looked like a old bumper jack that you could lift your sled when stuck by yourself and push it over when you were trenched. Does anyone know the name of this product. Thanks

That is why I workout two hours a day. ;)

Getting stuck alone in the deep is gonna suck and require some weezing, period. Shovel + don't auger it....good as anything IMO. Strap a 2nd shovel to your tunnel so it's easily accesible (plus the one that's hopefully in your pack).

$300???????? A friend of mine went to an auto wrecking yard and bought an old car bumper jack for this purpose. Cost him $10. Might not jack quite as high, but it works for him....

This guys a TOOL!!! lol

Lifting and puting your track on fresh snow to the side is alot better then shoveling .Did you ever notice how easy it is to get out when 2 poeple lift and do this verse shoveling by yourself and your still at the bottom of a hole trying to get out? I am not a stranger to hard work but would like to spend more time riding and less time digging.

INDEEP, funny shot...

I don't know if anyone else has tired this, however I have used a snowbunge cobra along with the with rope ratchet anchored to a stump or tree (plus a bunch of shoveling) to get out of some tough solo situations...

Life is to short to live in fear of what could go wrong . You and your friend that you ride with could die on your way to ride your sleds in a traffic accident. Does that stop you from riding?I dont want to ride in a avy danger but other then that I have spent time above the arctice circle for weeks at a time with the 10th mountain division training in fairbanks AK during the winter sleeping in tents and snow caves so I think I could make it for a few nights in a snow cave in the west when it is not 50 below like ALaska . So if I am a idiot for riding alone that is a small price to pay for the thrill of being out there and not being at home watching the weather reports wishing I was riding .Life is not a spectators sport

Oh yeah riding alone is not a wise thing to do. As far as your mountain training that is good to have, but what if your leg was broke or had a big bump on your head and so on.
