I am in need of the tool to fit the jam nut that is on the primary clutch of a 2013 Pro RMK. If anyone has one that I can borrow for a day or two, please let me know. Thanks

I dont know if it would be the same socket or not. I might just take it to a dealer and see if they cant just do it really quick for me.

I've always used a pair of needle nose locking pliers on the nut. Works great IMO.

That is interesting because the drive clutch spider jam nut is at 235 ft. lbs.
and the drive clutch spider is at 200 ft. lbs. I have broken 1/2" drive ratchets trying to remove these.

I thought the nut in question was the nuts involving changing primary weights? Pretty sure there 3/8 and very difficult to fit a socket on. The needle nose pliers work well to get on those nuts.

Okay, I see where you are coming from. I was really curious as to how a pair of needle noose vice grips work? Ya, those nuts do not have a lot of room around them.

Boy me too, I was wondering why mine is so damn hard to get off!

I ended up stopping by TCP thus evening and they took the primary off and tightened the nut then installed it back on then told me to have a good weekend. Props the the service dept there.
