I was up on Saturday and miss the bottomless powder from a couple weekends ago. Wanted to give my Betterboards a real test but had fun anyway.
One of my buds with a 2moto track kit on his Honda CRF450 will be up next weekend. We'll be riding out of Morningcreek or Woodland, not sure which yet.

Why did you get a ticket? I have heard they are not letting snowmobile trailers park there. If this is the case we need to find out if they are plowing the parking or if the state plows are clearing it. If the state plows it anyone should be allowed to park there.

The state plows are plowing that parking lot there are designated areas to park. I was there for nine days over xmas and I parked wright on the line. Days 2 threw 8 I see the forest cop up there. On day 9 we got ready to leave and the forest ranger was putting a ticket on my windshield. My buddy asked him why he wrote the ticket and he said we were in a non designated area for trailers. So he comes and gets me from the cabin and I'm not happy.
we climb up on the snow bank and see snow track prints. The a hole from the ski resort had gone down there and put up a new sign while we were there. There was clearly a hole dug in the snow were the new sign was.
I talk to the forest cop and he was a real nice guy he said he had to give me a ticket because the SKI LODGE OWNER was complaining about the parking situation. So I ask ware the hell are we suppose to park I thought I was in a designated area. He said we all need to contact the forest service and complain about the parking situation. We have had a cabin in this area for 25 yrs and Ive never seen such an a-hole for an owner of that ski resort we need some parking back so lets try to do something about it.

On saturday I was there and was parked at the far end of the parking lot the ranger came over and said I could not park there then he pointed at the sign That like Liv4snow said is a new sign so we moved our vehicle then he came over and gave me a map that showed where and how I could park and as soon as I get the scanner going I will be posting this bs on here Thanks Jeff

The Real Fed up thing is that half of his business is sledders and he is a dick to us! Thats just not right!
Icould see if the parking lot was full of skiiers, but come on the place is empty, if you dont park there it will be empty, that lot could hold 200 rigs and there is like 10 -20 parking in front of the resort and that is it, there must be a right of way witrhin 20 ft off the highway like along the lake or anyhere , that the owner has no say, Ithink more info from the forest service or hwy dept needs to be had, or they need to plow out the opposite side of the highway so the cabin owners have a place to park, I would think you would have a grandfather clause in there using that parking for about 50yrs, might be worth a few bucks to an attny

The ski lodge guy is an *******.. We need to lobby to get the parking unscrewed there. There is no reason that the lodge should have 2/3 of the lot.

Tollgate Thursday
I was up there today and it was nice and sunny. Alittle new snow that was crusted over and softened up with the sun. Not to warm and most trails were groomed. should be good riding with a little snow not to slick but you can go anywhere you want. Better than going to work.

I'll be heading up tomorrow for a long weekend. They're predicting some snow Friday evening and I'll have my fingers crossed
How far is Tollgate from pendelton? I don't know my way around up here so I'm hoping to get to hook up with some people to go.
