Tollgate Information 2009/10

I appreciate you guys sticking with him, he is so lucky to have run into you guy's because he had a long walk still ahead of him. Any idea how he even made it up the sheriff told me they had close the gate last week. Yeah I probably should have edited the post from the Tamarack but I know some people have strong feelings about some things so I let it slide...Thanks again it was a great ride.

Went riding yesterday dumped a bunch up to the armpits in some places now, but basically bottomless stumps easy to hit, looks like it snowed another foot last night, a little set up and should be great, seems like over the years the pol 159 and papadoo do a lot of rescueing, about time to change that 159 handle, I think you have stepped up since then. OH also groomer has been out trails fantastic now

Didnt go a long ways only had a couple hrs just wanted to get the first ride in, and check it out, went up baldy, out skyline, also road out coyote a bit, the mid road between Jubilee and skyline was probably being groomed at the time, was pleasantly surprised as to more snow than I thought there would be. Over the hood stuff off trail, couldnt do a lot of it too much brush, need more to cover that up, was enough to go over a lot of the downed trees that is a start.

Hey, blue are you still riding the 1000? It looks like the weekend should be good. May set up a little.

Bummer, if it was me I would rent a sled for the day, $125.00 includes fuel for the day. Sure beats sitting at home wishing. Check out the Tamarck Inn web site for rental information.

Maybe by april or so i will have mine together...

So how was Vegas?

We'll be heading up this weekend to make sure the sleds are ready. Still waitting for parts on my sled, UGH! Jim's turbo should be here by Friday. Yippeee!

Someone Please turn the thermostat down

Ruckel warming shed was opened today snow on that side is 3-4 feet but wet. Weatherman is prediciting a snow/rain mix over the next couple of days. On the bright side boondocking should be doable as the snow has settle in.

I was being a little sarcastic about the April thing, and theres no way ill rent a sled. Vegas was a lot of fun, got to watch a great rodeo 2 different nights, saw a lot of new things, had a lot of fun. All a round a pretty good trip.

Rain made a mess of all previous grooming, there will be no grooming until temps drop. On the bright side we should have a good base for playing in the trees. Spent sometime riding there on Saturday and only found the occasional stump still sticking up. Most of playing this weekend was between Skyline and Jubilee, I plan on checking out Balloon Tree on Wednesday hope to have some fresh snow by then.

Yep, we were up there playing between skyline and Jubliee too. We went to stump hill and decided to head back because of the rain and that was a good thing, by the time we got almost to baldy mtn my sled quit on me, well our buddies sled (still waiting for parts for mine).

Did anybody go to Ruckels on suday? How was the snow, and wheather? Thinking of going up there on thuse.

Went riding today, rode Balloon Tree and then up to Bone Springs. We have a really good base now with about 4 inches of powder on top. You can play in the trees just watch out for the occasional stump still sticking up. Most of the lower area and Balloon Tree have been groomed Skyline has not and is starting to get rough but once your on top of Baldy you can ride the trees.
