ok guys i am looking for some good info on a nice place to stay w food and gas besides togwotee lodge i want to stay in that area and there is only 4 guys going!! we have stayed at the line shack etc... dont want to stay on that side i know there are some other places auround tog area! any info is GREATLY appr...

turpin meadow ranch is just a few minutes down the rd(towards Jackson) from Tog, Lava mtn is abit further away and is in the Dubois direction...Those are both cheaper, heard nothing but good bout Turpin, Ive been to Lava and it seemed like a nice place and had good food...Brooks lake lodge is in the area but its as much or more than Tog...Do a search youll find all the info you could need.

Turpin Meadow

The best place to stay up top would be Turpin Meadow!!!
Dennis the owner will put updates on snow conditions weekly and sometimes
even daily depending on the weather!! You will see them here in the Wyoming
section. DC

Lava Mountain Lodge

Lava Mountain Lodge is located just 18 miles west of Dubois and 20 miles east of Togwotee Lodge. There is a gas stations, general store, restaurant, bar and liquor store located there. They have lodge rooms, a group cabin and some rustic cabins that sleep 4. There's a new menu this year with nothing over $20. Really friendly and helpful when you have sled issues (there is even some parts in the store). Its a great place to stay that is right off of the CD trail on the PB, no trailering necessary. We were in the Lava Mountain Lodge Sat. Night, seems like a pretty cool place and the owner is a nice guy too.

I know someone who owns a cabin near the Linehack and rents it for reasonable rates per person. You would have to cook your own food, but if you are trying to reduce cost it helps. You can pm me and I will give you the contact info.
