Tip on adding vents

I recently added some venting to my new Pro and thought I would pass along a trick I used.

After looking at several vents I decided on a set of Mo-Flows. After they arrived and there installed, I'm very happy so far.

One of the issues I kept finding with venting was that on some sleds depending on the color you could see the holes through the mesh screening when the light hit it. This usually happens on lighter colored sleds and my new Assault has white panels so I wanted to fix this issue.

Alot of guys said to just paint it, but I didn't want to go through the work. What I ended up doing was going to one of our local sign shops and had them make me a matte black decal slightly smaller then the vent itself. also on the decal I had then lay out a nice pattern for the holes to be cut.

Needless to say it worked great! Not only did I have a perfect pattern but now that the vents are on, you cannot see the wholes.

Here's some pics,

That's a nice little trick! I have a set of Mo Flow vents coming for my new sled and of course the side panels are white in color. I may borrow your trick :)

Glad I could help in fact if you want I can put in touch with the vinyl company that made up the decals for me. They have them saved and came be cut out in a matter of minutes.

You'll also like the Mo-Flow vents, there really nice!
