time for a new helmet

just ordered a pair of sinister goggles with a couple of different lenses since that snowest coupon was still available. now i need to find a lid, any opinions. I've been out of sledding for a few years but i use to wear a cheap hjc mx and didn't have any complaints, just wondering if spending the extra dough on something else will be worth my while. I was looking at the klim f4 and troy lee designs. what do you guys think?

I used to buy only Shoei until they changed the design a bit, I have since gone with the HJC Carbon MX helmet. I feel it's the only HJC I would wear and it was finally a true top shelf helmet from HJC. Before they always seemed like bottom feeder stuff but they have really improved over the past few years.

Troy Lee, I say leave him to painting helmets instead of designing them. They aren't bad but again the design just isn't right to my liking.

Check out the Fox V3 helmets 2.9lbs and are way nice. Girlfriend just picked up a flippen limited edition pink one.

She baught it just because it was pink!

It is a sweet helmet and I will be getting the blue one next month.

She had to pay the $375 for the 08 she baught, but if you are fine with the 07 which are the same just different graphics this site has them on closeout for $175!

Our lid may be $10 more but it comes with Skullcandy speakers, a spare set of cheek pads, cellphone adapters, and a fancy helmet bag. Not to mention it is noticeably lighter than Troy Lee's lid. As far as bang for you buck goes, the TOBE lid is hard to beat when compared to other high end helmets.
