Timbren SES

All I know is that Timbren is highly recommended for the front end on trucks doing snowplow duty, esp the 1/2 ton trucks.

I would guess their components for the rear are equally high quality.

i plan on putting them on the one ton for next year. (for the camper not the deck!) i like the fact of install them and forget it...also dosent change the factory ride empty..

if you are looking for lift, go with the air bags. much more expensive and time consuming...(air compressor-checking pressure-fixing any leaks-replacing a broke bag-onboard controler?)
if you want to maintain a level ride and just add extra support under a load go with timbrens.

not sure if the truck in in your sig is a 1500 or 2500 but any leveled load does not mean the truck can safely support it....leveling a load just helps in weight transfer and handling....im sure eveyone knows this, its just a freindly reminder!
good luck with whatever you choose

i found a really good deal on these and opted for the convenience of install and forget about them. have friends with airbags that blow out bags, leak air, and require constant attention, not to mention the added expense. i paid $159, shipped, for something thats supposed to install in under an hour with basic tools. thought i would recieve them today, but they havent made it yet. when the deck gets loaded, or i pull the trailer, i will update my opinion as i put them through the test. i think if they perform half as good as they claim, i am ahead of the game.

Snowdad I will be very interested in your opinion on the Timbrens.

My truck is a 2500HD DuraMax. I got my deck on yesterday and I will see how it is with a couple of sleds in a week or two.:D

Timbren ses

I just bought a 2009 hd2500 Chevy, Put a lift on it and then dropped my rat pack toolbox in the bed...........down she went. I decided to try Timbren ses and installed last Monday, I put the spacer on when I installed, and that mad me sick when I was driving down the road, so I dropped the spacer, and WOW! Good ride, leveled with 700 pounds in the bed, and I paid $195 shipped instead of $$$ for airbags.

I had them four 6 years on my truck with a sled deck worked good.
I put air bags on now like it better but its more for the travel trailer than the sled deck. quick to install
