If you rap that thing hard, do you think it will mess up your shock mount, or bend somewhere inbetween?

The bumpers are powder coated. The bumper will bend before the sub frame. Thanks, Budd

They are powder coated and so is the skid plate. This will help reduce the ice buildup.

The theory is that in the event of a collision with a tree is that will bend the bumper tubes out to the side and not damage the shock mount or the front of your sled. Hopefully will deflect the sled to one side or the other.

There is one thing for sure! I’m not going to be the first one to try it out on a tree-trunk! Ha Ha Ha

allen, does the skid plate on the front, extend under the motor like the accy skid plate from yamaha? i am assuming it is an aluminum, skid plate and either alum or chromoly tube bumper combo? ski

The skid plate is aluminum. It does not go under the motor, it stops at the lower attach points of the bumper. The tubing is 4130 chrome molly. Budd

If you mean the flotation plate SMA-8GL34-sp thats on their web site, probly not with out some modification to the skid plate. We have not had one of these on a Nytro. If your talking about something else please post a picture. Budd
