Correct.
But the money that we pay for our permits does pay the grooming and snow removal. ( at least some of it does )

You think WE complain about getting a ticket for parking there without a permit...

You should see the click clicks go off while they justify their parking W/O one saying things like...
"I don't take up as much space as their trucks and trailers with my little car".
Or, "I'm a taxpayer and I have every right to park here without a permit, I'm just walking in the snow".

I've seen it for myself and it's hilarious!

I remember last year at Price Creek there were some subarus and VWs parked in the snopark. They were parked so crooked that they took up more room than a dually towing a 4-place. Amazes me the amount of people that can't park if there's no lines to guide them.

Make sure you also follow the directions on your permit. You can be ticketed if it is not attached and displayed in the bottom driver's side corner of the windshield and if there is no license # filled in.

Had a buddy get one at the Salmon La Sac snowpark for this and eventhough it was a paid for permit he got with his registration still had to pay the ticket all because the license # was never filled in. They assume you are using it for more than the 1 allowed vehicle if it is not filled out.
