Well Folks, It is a done deal as of today, the sale of the Lodge closed. The new owner is Jeff Kieper who many of you already know. In the past he was the person who coordinated the Ski-Doo tours for BRP at the lodge and other areas. I would like to thank him and wish him the best of luck.
Also I would really like to thank all the people who came to the Lodge and supported me the past 5 years. It was a great experience and I truly met some wonderful people. Many have turned into good friends along with new business partners. I was going to try and name them all but the list is so long it would be nearly impossible. Everyone knows the people I am talking about.
Sean Martin (Farmer) is one I do need to mention though, and thank, as he was instrumental in my decision to buy the Lodge. He filled me in a lot as I was clueless about the area. There were a few times after I bought the place I did curse his name, but without him painting a rosy picture I never would have met so many great people.
Now, with that said I am officially retired and will be riding a lot more. Given I'm going to be on a fixed income any donations for fuel will be greatly appreciated! lol
Thanks Again Everyone. Braaaaaaappppp

P.S. Anyone know how big a boat I may need on the ocean?

Great, hopefully the new owners get the lodge back in shape. It was a fun place to visit back in the day. Too bad you didn't follow thru with your end of our signed agreement. I bet you are enjoying the motorhome and I wish you the best in your future. good luck!

Yeah, take the insurance money and run!!!

Ah, I'm a bit confused here. You were to use nights of lodging as we agreed. I have read on here that you had some health issues but never once heard from you for reservations. I did see you were posting about other areas you were riding. You had many many many chances to come over, nearly 2 years worth of time, stay and ride, but it appears you chose to go elsewhere. Don't really want or need to get in a pissing match here but not sure how this is me not following through on my end!

Oh, and I'm not sure why anyone would thank someone for a post like your original one. Wait now I see, it is StingRay who has no idea what we agreed too, he has just had a hard-on for me for years. One guy I won't miss!

Not sure what this means. I hope I am wrong, but I am taking this as a slam against me. Just so we are clear here, lodge was insured for less than half of what it would have cost to replace. Didn't just take money and run, whatever that insinuates. Anyone that thinks an Ins. loss is a money maker are sadly mistaken. Sold mainly because ( I'll be diplomatic here) the Forest Circus and I just can't see eye to eye!

Keyboard warriors that post like this, without any accurate information, and no knowledge of what really transpired, have not a clue, and look really foolish. It's sad that people can just post whatever and other people will take it as gospel!!!!!! The posters have no responsibility and sadly there are no repercussions. Social media is not all it is cracked up to be!
