Hey, that sled looks familiar. Darren found a "rock" in Hidden Valley??? Not hard to do in that "rock pile". That stinks for sure. It is getting better though. We were in there on Sunday and put a few marks on the hillside.

Kudos for "rescue".

Rode from thunder mtn lodge to electric mtn lodge today. Snowed hard most of the day. Had to be a good foot in some areas. Saturday will be awesome!

Were you guys in Hidden Valley Sunday??? I thought I saw your sleds. We should have introduced ourselves if that was you. There were 27 in our group. It was interesting to say the least with that many.

27 Sam! Did you hit a rock when you were out last time and bump your head? That's got to be like herding cats. lol

Yea, I did mean Saturday. I don't know what I was thinking. It was fun. I was able to finally put the TM1200 to a "little" test. The boys from Diamond S\Scott Stevens to be specific, were with us and having fun also. We had a good little wait while one of the TNytros extracted himself from a pull he did not quite make.

Yea it was interesting to say the least, haha. Good to finally meet Scott from Diamond S, plus all the others that were with him though. I really wanted to get over and get one of your Thunder Mtn. burgers. By the time we got back to the truck, which was 4:30, I had to get home.

I will be up next week though. Get one of those burgers on the grill.

SOCO LOCO

Thunder Mountain Crew's yearly SOCO trip was sick as usual. Thanks to Colorado Matt for guiding on Sunday at Summitville. Awesome time.

No pics from Friday, flat light and crap snow at Summitville. Not worth taking pictures - except for when we put the Super Duty and 37foot trailer in the ditch coming down that night.....I'll post pics when I get them from the other camera..!

Saturday we headed further south to New Mexico. What we found was far better snow, no crowds, and blue bird. Enjoy the pics:

SOCO LOCO 2

Sunday we headed back up to Summitville with Colorado Matt moonlighting as guide for the day. Thanks a ton Matt, wish we didn't have a 5 hour drive home that day so we could have ridden more. What a difference 2 days make. MUCHO BUENO conditions. Snapped a few pics on Sunday:

Jeff - Long lost Thunder Mountain Crew member who moved back to SOCO.

Just wanted to give a big thanks to Mark from the Eastern South Dakota crew for going above and beyond for getting us cabins there last week, March 15-18, late planning on our part and he worked his magic. Also to the new bartender Shawna, I hope we didnt offend her to much, she was a trooper. Snow was good while we were there and I am betting they have been getting dump on since we left. I am peeling from a sunburn also.

We will be back, maybe even for a deer or elk hunt.
