Does any one out there work on and ride the old thumpers? I have a 79 xt 500 yamaha and just had the motor bored out new piston, set the valves and new flow exhaust, and k&n filter. Well when I was tuning it in all of the sudden I lost spark, so now I check every thing out and every thing appears to be good but the spark comes and goes, thus causing it not to start. Any ideas would be great. Thanks Cubby

Sorry I am of no help to you on your troubles, but I will say I hate that right wing wacko place call Thumper talk. The dumbest people on earth are from Texas!! It's like a KKK ralley on their open forums.

I'am don't know what forum you are re furing to, but if it is that bad I won't waste my time going to there looking for a answer. But I was hoping with all the outdoorsman on here that are a little bit older then I am, thought I might get a little help here. Thanks for the input anyways.
