Throttle freezing on a 450 after a break

Anyone else have any issues after a break my throttle freezes up on my kx450 and gets stuck

I've been somewhat lucky with breaking it lose or starting the engine and letting it heat up but I feel its a ticking time bomb and my throttle cable is going to break this season!

Just curious if anyone else has had the issue and possible fixes?

Probably moisture inside the housing. Spray WD40 down the inside of the cable. WD stands for water dispersant

I will try that. It just feels like my throttle body it freezing. But that could be in my head.

Pull the cover off of where the throttle cables go into the throttle body. You might have a little moisture in there that is freezing when you stop. It happened all the time on my R&D throttle body.

I had the same problem with my kx450f had it happen all winter and could not figure it out. It ended being the throttle body cover it was missing a bolt and water would get in there than freeze.
