Use a kxf 450 and after you stop for awhile the throttle freezes. So far have always got it free. Any tips. Is this a comon issue? Or only kxf issue. Thanks

I had this problem on really cold days last year. I took my cables off and worked wd-40 into the ends. (or some other water repellent oils) and the problem went away. good luck

Antifreeze heated bars work wonders.

$25 from Home Depot.

Pull the cover off the throttle body where the cables enter - you may have water in there that freezes when cold. It was a constant headache with a r&d throttle body.

Just had it happen to me for the first time couple days ago. Throttle body was froze, cables and throttle tube were not. I did a search, and it sounds like a bead of silicone on the cover will fix it. Maybe shoot a bit of lube in there while you're at it.

Cable lube actually works better than I gave it credit for , Petroleum based .
