Throttle Block- Recall Please!?

So this weekend I rode Cooke... it was Deeeeeeep btw :face-icon-small-hap and my throttle block was icing up like a mofo, to an almost dangerous point, there were numberous times where it would stick at half or more throttle and I would have to slap the throttle from the back to make it stop. I has always been a minor issue in average snow conditions, with it sticking just enough to crawl along, but in over the hood snow it was BAD. I wouldnt even ride in the trees because I was nervous I was gonna end up doing a little logging. Has Polaris done any addressing to this issue or????? I know they have a new throttle block for 13 but I think something should be done about the 11 and 12 blocks. Not only annoying, but potentially dangerous. Anyone else think this, or have issues?

Here in Tahoe our high moisture content snow does this all the time. Knowing that it does this, I just positively close the throttle with my thumb.

At least you finally got to experience deep enough pow where this situation occurs......

Yep the ice chunk slides down the exposed cable and gets caught between the flipper and the block... Then when you look at it the little sucker can slide perfectly back into the space and make you wonder wtf? Had to break the ice piece off the cable then good to go.
I sprayed it with Wd40, seemed to help a bit.
