Yours is a rare case... got some pix to post up?
Are you cranking down to hard on the set screw?

Stock bars, grips heaters??

no i havn't touched the set screw the dealer has changed it both times. it's broken really easily both times.just hoping to find a better option. love the sled other then that.

Another option is to run an IQR throttle block(I have this setup). It allows you to use your stock throttle lever, is super strong, but doesn't house the TSS. On the 13, you can simply zip tie the button and stuff the TSS harness and switch in the harness baggy under the hood. Of course you will be defeating the safety switch, but rarely does this switch really protect you anyways. That is where a tether works great. Just another option, those RSI ones are hard to come by it seems.

Mine got broke twice in two rides. Both times the dealer warrantied it. Both times it happened in rough landings where my hand actually twisted the throttle down. A rough creek crossing was one of the times. My wife's Summit X has a really solid looking aluminum one that I wish could be put on the Pro.

The RSI "works" with the TSS. I broke my stock one the 2nd ride this year and decided that wasn't going to be strong enough for me. Replaced it with the RSI and had some issues off and on with the safety switch. Actually almost spent the night one night because the snow was deep and the sled kept dying as a result of that switch. I decided for me personally I'd rather not have to wonder about the switch so I bypassed it and got a tether have about 300 trouble free miles since. I think the RSI would work perfect with the switch if it had a different throttle pin. The stock pin is so loose that it lets the throttle move around too much. Tried all sorts of different throttle adjustments and nothing cured the issues i was having.

I definitely recommend the RSI if you are looking for something more durable as long as you are prepared to consider bypassing the TSS as an option if/when it starts acting up. You may not have any problems with it at all but there's a good chance you will. Just want people to know what they should expect. Personally that TSS proved worthless to me. There have been a few times this season my throttle iced and stuck and the TSS didn't even kill the sled. Since that is the sole purpose of it I decided it was worthless but that's just my opinion.

that's how mine has been braking.you hit a little ditch or ocome off a hill wrong and snap.definatly needs to be beefed up.
