Thoughts on a KTM XC-F 350 to 366 upgrade

Anyone have thoughts on building up a 2017 KTM 350 XC-F with the Vertex 366 kit?

Any idea if that is worth doing for a snowbike?

Do you think there would be that much benefit?

No. 16cc isn't with the trouble. they run amazing stock. They have more power than some 450s. If you want more torque buy a 450. Don't ruin the 350.

My buddy did this when he did his topend on his 350. Did a hc piston as well with some mild port work and tuned on a dyno. His 350 rips. Felt like my 450, but with 2000 more revs. I'm sure the 16cc helped, but the cr bump port work and tune probably did the most.... but 16cc's is still 16cc's. Haha

if this is a dedicated bike just get a 450. I ride a 350 in the summer and winter and up until 3rd gear it goes with the 450's then torque takes over. Now if my bike needed a new top end and I wanted more power I would consider it. You will loose some of the RPM and gain a little torque so youll have to deside it thats what you want. Your also looking at re-mapping the computer, possible bigger throttle body, power adder intake and maybe an exhaust. $$$ over just buying a 450 that will beat it stock

I guarantee most of the extra power came from the hc piston and the tune but if you have to do a top end anyway then the price of and Athena cylinder might be cheap enough to justify a 16cc bump.
