Speaking of sick bastards the biggest one on the right Alex Jones is talking up a storm this was all staged up by the left and their ISIS connections because they knew that all the media would be in Nevada covering the release of another killer OJ from prison. Not sure how that guy sleeps at night or that people actually follow him but they do Speaks volumes of the state Americans is in.

But because of "Muy raights " the next guy probably will. No one wants to take away guns, but a little common sense would be nice. It's amazing this clown only killed 59 and not 599.

If they table the vote on the Sportsman Bill at this time (which I would guess they probably will) just keep an eye open when it gets close to vote again.

Anytime you allow the police force or military to have different, better, more advanced weapons than you allow the citizenry, you set up an opportunity for oppression by the state.
What happened in Vegas was a tragedy. What happens when governments wield all power is also a tragedy.
You'll hear talk of "nuclear deterrent" in reference to keeping dangerous regimes at bay. An armed citizenry is the deterrent to government oppression.

Funny thing is I changed my opinion on this a few years ago after the left backlash to the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting. I used to think, why on earth would anyone need an AR-15. I do think there should be some logical ethical approaches to things, but a part of me woke up to the fact that our police & military forces, under the control of the government, have the very weapons & more that they were wanting to outlaw the citizenry from having.
I'm not sure what the right answer is, but restricting law abiding citizens from owning even a lot of weapons goes against the bill of rights.
"The right to keep & bear arms.... SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED." Seems pretty cut & dry. And it keeps it as "We the People," not "We the Government."

I'm not a huge "gun guy" but I have about 10 guns, including 1 AR-15, and a permit to carry. I have no problem with slightly tighter restrictions to purchase firearms, I believe I read this guy bought like 19 ARs this year alone. To me, that just seems unnecessary and screams "red flag." There is no reason for 1 man to have 19 AR-15s. I've also shot an AR with a bump stock, while there is no reason for them to be legal, it actually may have been beneficial here, he probably would have done more damage without the bump stock, they make the gun tough to control. What a piece of ****.
