Looks like we have another foot of fresh snow since yesterday, so this weekend should be INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks,

these pics are all up in Taylors Fork...no secrets with me, if you can get to some of these holes we drop into or climb, then you chances are, already know about them...So, no biggy to me...always glad to share, and always glad to take people riding...

Here is the climb from the pic above...

same sage peak that slid?

is that the same sage peak that slid a few months ago? I thought I saw a video of that slide on the gallatin national forest avalanche website. I have seen it, but decided against climbing it.

Its the same Sage Peak aeb!
that thing always slides, specially to the right of that pic.

like all hills, they will slide, and will slide when we dont expect it...It is always a judgment call...I rarely ever do climbs... for me, it is boring...but thought where some of the other sleds were getting to was easily reachable...

on this day, I made a judgement call, and it was more than fine to climb for this day given these conditions...

Climbing is boring? LOL :) You gotta put a little more challenge into it then. HAHA

Not judging

I am not judging, just curious. I was involved in a slide this year on Buck Creek ridge and seem to look at everything in a whole new light. I live in bozo and am out of town working right now. Can't wait to get back and do some more ridin.

yes, that will make you see things in a new light...Avy issues are ALWAYS paramount for all of us who ride in the backcountry!!! those who dont think about them, are the ones who get hurt or killed...

I have had the unfortunate situation of losing several friends to avy's over the years...They tend to change your life...especially if you have children...and my kids have transformed my willingness to do stupid stuff...

trust me when i say, MTD rides using nothing but caution and safety!!
i went with him once this season, i would not hesitate to ride with im again! before i even met him, he told me he wont ride with anyone that doesnt have a beacon and if anyone screws off and does anything unsafe, thats the end of the ride.. super nice guy but, he doesnt mess around when it comes to safety!!

i get a little hesitant riding with some guys because for some reason i get a little worried that they push the envelope as far as safety... id ride with MTD anytime, he knows his sh!t!!!
