stevens is closed until next monday. I'd recomend martin creek, park at senic ,cross the road then ride the groomed trail to the top. You can drive up the old cascade hiway to get to the trailhead but there is very little room to turn around
where did you get that info?
the lifts closed on the 13th.
pretty sure its a go at stevens right now, if not, can someone point me out to that info? i can't seem to find it..

thats the only place i can find info to, on the site, (CLOSED) last couple yrs that means sleds are a go on the backside.. maybe someones trying to save the pow for themselves

I've been driving by and the signs said NO SNOWMOBILES November 15 - April 15. I called the FS last week; the person ansewring the phone said the nordic center closed the 6th. I was told to call the Ski office. Called was told by a guy named Collen that the we could go the 14th. I decided to call again to confirm before i took the 14th off work and was told by a Lori at the Ski office that I could go the 14th. Still worried I tried to e-mail Mike Powers, the person in charge of the nordic center, no reply. Took the day off got there, no other trailers and was told by Mike Powers that the forest service would confiscate our vehicals if we unloaded. He told me that the lease from the forest service is until april 15th every year and the first day that sleds are allowed is the 16th. Also Collen at the Stevens office said they are going to request an aditional week next year. I am going to get ahold of the Wenatchee ranger and ask for the official answer.

already did.. useless calling stevens pass really, they are only leaser of the land the forest service owns.. i called wenatchee.. lease is up April 15th, ride the 16th.. its now a go..

So I read in the paper they are staying open another weekend any one hear this.
Stevens Pass Alpine area and the Nordic Center, are CLOSED FOR THE SEASON! We would like to thank you for, and were excited to share with you, this stellar winter season! We are looking forward to seeing you again next season!
