Thinking about buying Klim gloves...

I'm thinking of buying some Klim gloves for mountain riding. Looking at the following Klim models; Summit, Fusion and Togwotee. Quite expensive so I was hoping I might be able to read some reviews before making a decision. Anyone out there wear these gloves? Good? Bad? Thoughts?
Thanks.

What size do you wear? I have several pairs of klim gloves and really like them, I'm selling a brand new pair of Klimates in a small. I'm going to be trying out a new pair of powercross gloves this weekend.

I have a set of Tog's my wife bought me last year. They took a couple rides to break in and get used to because I usually always ride in some sort of "cheap" insulated work glove. Leather 100 gram Thinsulate Golden Eagles to be exact. The Tog's are a well built glove but a bit bulky for me.:beer;:beer;

I have 2 pair of klim powercross and love them best glove I have ever found! I thought they were cheap at 70 bucks is there a better glove for mtn. riding?

I have a bunch of gloves but a few years ago I decided, that's it, I'm not buying anymore gloves that aren't completely waterproof. After years of digging people out only to end up wet cold hands I had enough.

I bought three of the most recommended gloves on the forum at the time. The Iron Clad Tundra, the Klim Powercross and True Adventure Gear Storm gloves.

The Iron Clad didn't click with me, they seem a bit rigid and kind of an industrial design.

The Klim Powercross is a fine glove with one exception. The material used across the palm of the glove freezes sometimes and gets kind of slippery feeling. I didn't care for that but, most of the time they are fine.

I agree with Catmandewe, the True Adventure Gear Storm gloves are the best gloves I have used. They fit (like a glove) and stay soft, dry, warm and supple regardless of the conditions.

Best of luck

I Like my TNA's the best. If buying the klim gloves, I'd get the togs. Avoid the klimates like the plague. The seams are horrible and I hated the lack of grip.

I also like my True North Adventure storm gloves....they are my favorite pair. They are water proof....but if i dig out a stuck with my gloves instead of my shovel even my TNA's get wet, i also have the Klim Powdercross...they are ok....but at then end of the day if my hands are cold nothing like putting on my klim togatee's for the ride out. I usualy carry 4 different pairs of gloves on a ride....nothing like a dry pair regardless of what brand.

I like the TNA or whatever the name is now (it changed slightly) they work really good bu I do have a problem with them freezing at the end of the day.

I carry 4 pairs of gloves
mechanix for most days - cheap and work very well
TNA's for the colder days and the powder cuff is very nice
I like the Arctic Cat full leather glove (insulated) for the trip down when the weathers bad and your hands are cold.
then I also carry a pair of mittens (yes you can ride in them) for the emegecy backup or freezing days!
as soon as I figure a smart way I will carry a strictly dig out pair as I have yet to find a glove that will last through them.

I personally like the klim powdercross glove. Its tough warm yet almost as comfortable as wearing my dirtbike glove. I ride with a low profile windshield and handguards with my handwarmers on low and never had freezing hands yet in the 3 years I have had the gloves. I also carry a spare in my pack and another in my tunnel bag incase I have to go fish a sled out of a creek or somthing retarded of that nature.

I purchased a pair of Togwotee gloves this season. I have used them 4-5 times, in cold and warmer weather. I wear the linears while riding the trail up, take them out once in the deep snow.

Love the gloves, never had wet hands, great grip, never cold. Perfect glove for me. I dig myself out and others lots! So they see their fair share of snow.

My 2 cents.

I ran a pair of Klimate's for awhile and they weren't bad for the money. They seemed a little loose and kinda bulky but they stayed dry.

I use cheap leather work gloves that are insulated. Usually use two or three pair during the day and have one pair of nice gloves "the expensive ones" that I keep dry and use for the ride back to the cabin or truck. Note I dont have hand warmers. No need to waist money on three pairs of $100 gloves when in the end they will end up wet if you are pulling people out or getting yourself unstuck. My $0.02.
