Take it to Performance Motor Sports in Ashton. Its 25 miles south of Island Park. They have great mechanics and service. You can give them a call 208-652-7738.

sorry to hear about your trip man that sucks, i drove 1000 miles only to have my xp summit break it's exhaust pipe sutds the first day, 50 miles to a dealer and 2 days gone and then time to head home.

Ya it was up to temp.we where out ridein all day on the trail back to base camp. Heard a squeel and then got towed out 10 miles.

I wouldnt be suprised if you have a restricted oil line, that seems to be the most common cause of these sleds going down, which is pretty rare.

Its unfortunate but engines break. More than likely a bad rod bearing from the bearing manufacturer. Thats why they come with a warranty.

Boy I could tell you guys some sketchy failures I have seen over the years from a certain motorcycle manufacturer............ You would be blown away.

It wasnt kinked but there was air bubbles in it when it went in and heard sounds from the engine. Dealer fixed the bubble and said it was fine, boy is it. Got about 50 miles till burndown. They have to fix it now hell the warrenty papers arent even to polaris yet.

50 miles with premix in the tank seems like it should have had enough lubrication but who knows. Sorry to hear it.

Ummmmmmmm........would that be ducati By chance? Just guessing having looked at your name.

I bet that it had the clip on the wrist pin in wrong heard they did that on a few motors, heard they have it narrowed down to a 10 hour shift buddies did the same thing haven't heard the final word but am guessing it is the same as yours.

Same exact thing happened last week to a guy I was riding with.

I've ridden with 3 different pro's on 3 different days. Guys have nothing bad to say about them. 2 of them ran great, and the 3rd one seized up with 70 miles on it. Ended up being the lower rod bearing on the crank. His sled is just sitting in the shop as I guess there aren't parts avail to fix it.

I have heard that the bad ones are letting go at all different times, some with just a few miles others with quite a few on. The one I ride with had almost 700 miles and has ran great till she took a sh*t. I was told about the clip on the wrist pin problem over Christmas out in West Yellowstone by a very good source!!!

It only took 9 days to get it back up and running!!! Had to extend vacation just to get the sled back. Motors are on back order till who knows when now, they finally sent in parts for dealer to assemble the new motor. It was mag side rod bearing on crank that went bad. PMS in Ashton did a pretty good job of helping me out.
