Hey folks, I'm gonna be in Portland this Feb visiting my wifes grandparents. I need ideas of what to do while there....well other then avoiding Hippies.

Any good local breweries to check out?

Ah the ACROPOLIS! DUH Normally you can start in about 11:00am get a nice steak for lunch and......well stay all day!

What? Come on....who doesn't like "steak"? he he :D

I don't think I ever experienced a "bad" lunch there!

Somehow I don't think the wife will like the Acropolis ;) I hear the steaks are good, though!

I heard there were some good places to get steak.....but i think the wife won't like taking the kids along. So I guess I'm gonna have to check out some beer joints:beer;

Good beer flows aplenty in the wetcoast.... Everything tastes like a lite beer when I leave here... Crap, it is February man, how about snowmobiling on Mt. St. Helens? Yah, I know, but it is an idea....... Oh and more on the beer, you don't need to go anywhere special, just go to a bar and see what is on tap. If you are in a more urban area, there are really good odds it will be good... meaning more selection then bud and bud lite...

Hope this helps.

well I'm driving over to Spokane to go sledding, then the rest is family time in Port.

Ruffy, remember I know more about beer then you....a beer snob without the tude.....I do love going out and trying the local brews on tap, but if I can go right to the source it's even better!!!
