Glad to hear he is in custody. Don't get your hopes up on seeing your stuff (other than your shoes) again. These fawkers usually dump the stuff pretty quick.

It isn't just your neck of the woods that the cops are worthless in this respect either. Nationwide they are more interested in the things that pay well. Speeding, seatbelts, DUI, that kind of thing. I had a utility trailer stolen from a "secure" storage facility and the guy pawned it the same day. Three months later I get a call from a buddy telling me he saw it at the pawn shop. I thought they checked those places but no, if you want your stuff back you have to go find it yourself. Your tax dollars at work.

Anyhow, glad to hear he's sleeping with a bunch of stinky fawkers. Maybe they served beans tonight??

If you think the cops are a joke, our court system is 10x's as bad!! I know cause I am involved with some stuff right now where a guy has stolen over $50,000 and has like 2 2nd degree felonies and like 6 3rd degree felonies, and has not served a day in jail and has drug this **** out for over a year now!!

If your looking for justice, dont hold your breath!! And odds are that the ****ty DA's we have will offer him a deal and he will not serve a day in jail. They say that they prefer to have him out so he can work and pay restitution (or steal more!!). The guy I am talking about has continued to steal why he has been out.

The American/Wasatch/Heber Police and Court systems are a joke!

Thieving criminals have more rights than law abiding working folk!

We wont be seeing any of our missing stuff! The thief made bail the same hour he was booked in, he got a slap on the wrist and a court date!

I bet it even makes you more mad when you see how much the state and federal take out in taxes and this is the punishment they give someone who took what wasn't there's. I wouldn't count on him getting his just rewards. They're trying to release all of the nonviolent criminals so they can save a buck.

They need to get tough on these bastards. Chain gangs aren't too much to ask.

It seems like the only time the justice system gets serious, is when someone steals FDIC insured money. Hell, that carries a more severe penalty than murder.

I just can't believe that they would let an identity thief out on the streets.
