Somebody please quote to me where this man blamed a snowmbiler in his first message?? He was just looking for a little help. An ignorant statement would be to state the a snowmobiler doesn't snowboard also. Who knows maybe the crook is riding a stolen sled as well. It all unfortunate. Good Luck!!

snoplug,
my first post has been edited, and I said a snowmobiler stole it, reason being for that statment is that you wouldn't be that far up the trail without one. So I edited my post to be more P.C.

I appreciate your response to this, as some don't get it, I skied Tamarack
sunday and as i sat at the bar eating lunch there were 5 people around me wearing klim gear, so what are they that day? some statements including mine have been ignorant.

EAD,
Pound sand!

There must be no chance your buddy lost his board?? Maybe when he and his crew were doing snow angels they covered the board with snow??

Good God, you'd think from some of the posts that all sledders are angels. Not the case, the majority are great people but not all. Good luck finding the board, Bogus is having problems with theft again this year too.

seriously, thats all you can some up with?

now leave please, re read the circumstances, or do what EAD stands for,
don't really care.

it was not just "lost".

Thanks John,
I appreciate the input.

I could come up with much more. Wanna hear??

First off, if your buddy can't keep track of his board, maybe he will do a better job on his new one?? !!

Um, common guys...

Guys board was taken, maybe by a thief, maybe by someone who will turn it in (wishful thinking). Theft, thieves and vandalism sucks, no mater who the perp is.

EAD, any information your buddy can provide regarding the board that would help to clearly identify it would be helpful. Graffiti, stickers, make and model, etc. As for the bindings, Clicker is worthless with out the boots and pretty much only old guys like me and BC riders still like them so it's likely they will get removed...

When did this guy actually accuse a snowmobiler of taking the sled. The guy is just looking for a little help. If all snowmobile guys act like this I would blame you. When did there become a fued between the two groups anyway? Just a bunch of tough INTERNET guys anyway. Hope you find you board.

You are a idot jstrows! I ride sleds mainly but also ride snow boards, skis, telemark, ice skates, garbage can lids and tower pads and would'nt want you representing any of them. This guy is looking for a little help and most sledders are more than happy to help because they are usually good people, give him a break, a sledder took the board dumb arse!

I hope ypur buddy gets the board back EAD.

"Any one have any leads to the theft of my friends snow board on the side of the trail at Anderson creek new years eve. It's maroon with click in bindings.

Guys were up taking turns about 6 miles up the trail, made a run, came back and unfortunatly a snowmobiler stole his board that was sitting on the side of the trail. Th

There is a side trail that leads to a cabin that is suspect, pretty sure the 5 sleds at the cabin may need a visit.

If you know anything please pm me, never expected this out of a snowmobiler.

just a shot in the dark."

I agree could have been more tactful....but you admited that and edited it out. Everyone is entitled to make a mistake now and then.
Some of the "snowmobilers" on this forum that are responding like azzholes are doing the exact same thing which in my opinion isn't helping the snowmobiler "reputation".

No matter how you slice it, if they were 6 miles up the road then they got there on a snowmobile because nobody walked up the road that far on NYE. I am also sure that if there were some other tracks leading away from where the board was taken then the origional statement probably would have been different.

You guys bashing him need to get off and realize what you look like here. Why don't you try helping instead.

What he said! Hope your buddy finds his board(and gets some payback from whoever "borrowed" it!:beer;

wow, what is this decent understanding people, I say I say gawd dam and thank you man i knew you existed out there.

Thanks for all those willing to help, hate them robbers.

On another note, this is pretty minimal compared to some of the other threads. God bless those folks that have been lost and injured.

Karma gonna get you. Last idiot that stole my buddies snowboard got caught on the mountain a week later. We depants that mother****er, took his boots and made him walk barefoot no pants to the lift. That'll teach'em.

I lost about 15 cold beers up there that day too!! Anyone find em'................

That's sum funny chit:eek::eek::D:D:eek::eek:.... IMO there is no room for thieves....

My point above, was he came on here hot headed, which usually doesn't gain alot of sympathy...

First, I hope someone picked it up and turns it in... i know if i ran across something like that, I would take it and turn it in at the local Sheriff's office.....:face-icon-small-hap

Second, if the above is not the case, I hope ya find the phu(kers and make an example out of them in a similar matter as was explained above:D:D

gotta love carma, ah man is she sweet, this one time at band camp..

but seriously, one time when living in tahoe my back pack diapeared from the bottom of our training hill, a week later I saw it with a lifty, we followed him to the bottom of the hill where we had the sheriff waiting, well poor guy had a bong and a quarter oz. in the pack, I get my pack back and reimbursed for the gear that was missing but the sherrif kept the "goods" lucky..

Sucks that it got ripped off! I seriously doubt a snowmobiler took it. A hybrid rider may have taken it.

On another note, where I ride, it's just not snowmobilers that are on the trails. There are tour companies that have snowcats, there are snowshoers, there are X-country skiers and there are hybrids that use sleds to get to their honey holes. I wouldn't classify them as snowmobilers!

Hope you find the board!
