missing snowboard Cascade Idaho

Any one have any leads to a snow board that was on the side of the trail at Anderson creek Cascade idaho new years eve. It's maroon with clicker bindings, its "larger" than normal, 6'4" guy was using it.

Guys were up taking turns about 6 miles up the trail, made a run, came back and unfortunatly his board grew legs AND WALKED OFF.

If you know anything please pm me, never expected this in this area.

just a shot in the dark.

thanks.

Where the board was sitting, how far from the trail head were you?

Some more specifics on the board and bindings would be good. What is the brand and model of the board (color as well), how long is it? Same on the bindings. Also, any special markings, paint or stickers on the board that set it apart? This is by Bellingham?
I would also suggest posting on Turns all year, TGR and biglines, maybe telemarktalk.com as well...

There is a side trail that leads to a cabin that is suspect, pretty sure the 5 sleds at the cabin may need a visit.

If you know anything please pm me, never expected this out of a snowmobiler.

A snowmobiler has no fuggin use for a snowboard, so go blame a snowboarder.

HEY DUSCH BAG, IT WAS ON A SNOWMOBILE TRAIL 6 MILES UP THE TRAIL
WHO THE FUG ELSE IS UP THERE.

You got a alot of nerve coming on here and accusing people, when you don't know a fuggin thing.... Anderson Creek is not that far from Tamarack, ya think some dusche bag skiers/boarders did something with it....

Or maybe.... It was sitting on the side of the trail so someone picked up and turned it in, thinking some IDIOT lost it:mad::mad::mad:

Take you crap somewhere else pudwacker:mad::mad::mad:

I am just posting this for a friend, so not real sure on the particulars. He said board was off the trail back in the bushes and hard to see from the trail.
All i know about the baord is that it is tall and wide, marron top and clicker bindings. the guy is 6'4" that lost it.

A couple guys lent a hand a raced to the parking lot to try and find the board for him, no,luck, reason for suspecting cabin that had fresh tracks leading to it.
so if you know anything just let me know.

Thanks.

Your first post one this forum is the poor one. Read again, slower this time. A snowmobiler rides a sled, a snowboarder rides a board. A snowboarder would be the one you need to be blaming. Pretty simple concept.

Easy

EAD:

I feel for your buddy, getting chit ripped off sucks, just ask my friend who's RMK vanished up at the tower at Gold Creek last year.

You don't know who took the board.
Could be some moron who borrowed his buddies sled.
It could have been a ##s hole snowboarder riding on the back of his buddies sled.

You have a hand full of posts.
Accusing snowmobilers on a sled forum, and flaming others is not going to help your buddy get his board back.

So are you saying a boarder came over from tamarack to anderson creek trail?
good luck with that one and lost it huh, off the side of a trail with foot tracks to it showing that it was purposely placed there?

if you have no input then leave please. i'm just trying to help a friend out that now has to pay for borrowed equipment that someone has picked up and carried off.

post count means nothing, just because I don't care to transfer my old post counts equals low count here, who gives a chit about how many posts I have.

I will edit my first post to apease all.

Hey ever think that a lot of back country skiers and snowboarders use sleds to get back into the good stuff? I know quite a few that do.

you do know that there are a couple snowmobile rental places in cascade right????
Any one could have taken it. Ive seen skiers/snowborders that have hicked all the way to the top of lady bug just to ski down.

I wear tennis shoes, does that make me a tennis player, I don't think so.

What???

Somebody please quote to me where this man blamed a snowmbiler in his first message?? He was just looking for a little help. An ignorant statement would be to state the a snowmobiler doesn't snowboard also. Who knows maybe the crook is riding a stolen sled as well. It all unfortunate. Good Luck!!
