Thermobob location

Can someone recommend the location for a thermobob , on an older red TE511 ?


Referenced to the drawing, # 7 comes off the head, and the short part of #8 attaches to waterpump.


Bike does not get close to temp., and over fuels, which results in a oil/gas mixture change every full day ride.

Stat would go into part 7 and then the bypass return would mount into part 8 on the return from rad hose.

That 2nd picture down in the 2nd image you posted you can see exactly where it should go. Check with Bill at Watt-Man and he might give you more info.
