Them Damn scooters

I think I could get myself to ride this! LOL!

Have had my scooter for 2 years. 49cc and gets 100mpg. I was told by the police that I would need a motorcycle licence, but that is fine, as I already have the licence.

I make sure to wear my full face helmet with chrome shield so nobody can see who I am.

My Daughter got a 49cc Yamaha vino. Piece of sh-t. 28 MPH. Found a restrictor (washer) in the head pipe, so I removed it. 45 MPH and fun. Now you better wear your helmet. One hell of an improvement.

I have a Yamaha zuma, and if it was stock I wouldn’t be riding it anywhere but side streets. I got it for $900 when a decent newer street bikes where selling for $5-6K +. Only street bike I could find for the same amount of money where 35+ yrs old and ugly as sin. I put a 70cc big bore kit, aftermarket carb and pipe and it will top out at about 54mph. Put an oversized disk up front and I can do stoppies like no ones business. The best part about it was I was spending $50 a wk driving to work in my truck on a route with a top posted speed limit of 45…. I now spend $5 a week if I can ride it to work every day (weather permitting). It works great at mx races for tooling around the pits and now that all the guys I race with have them we get together once a week and have some fun. I would never ride it some of the places I do if it was stock just because it couldn’t keep up with traffic and since I have much more experience than most of the people you see riding them and wear a helmet I feel just as comfortable as riding a full size street bike. I guess im not old enough to buy a street bike to take it out for long scenic cruises just yet and why spend so much for a bike I just will ride in town when I can spend a fraction, get around the same and have way more money to stick into my mx bikes and sleds?

Fixed it for you.

So if all these people have scooters...
Does it change your outlook if you show up around your buddies with a fat chick ?
