THEIVES out North of Prince George

Guys be carful!!!!!!

Went out riding North of Bear Lake, okay conditions, came back and some THEIVES broke into 3 of the 4 trucks there, poped the locks, and only got to 1 truck befor we scared them off, they stole a Klim gear bag, Klim gloves, Beacon, shoes, VISA's. Lucky we didnt catch them red handed.

Heads up guys

Jay

Hey the same thing happned to us on saturday we were out at Beaver creek about 10km north of powder King and same thing we got back to the truck they popped the locks out of the doors of both trucks and stole $550 dollars out of the one guys wallet left his visa stole a flashlight and radar detector and just ransacked the other truck..Pissed off would really like to know who is doing it. You didnt happen to see what they were driving did you?

Nope sorry, sure wish we could have caught a look, everything was done by the time we got back. It happened between 11am and 2:30pm as there were some local hunters there till 11am and we talked to them on the way out.

Man we don't need another year were we can't trust leaving your truck in the parking lots:mad: Didn't these guy's learn from the last time one of them got caught;) Looks like some more pardons will be coming.

One trick of these scumbags is to leave your wallet but take your credit card and by the time you notice it missing they have racked it up to the Max

I was out that way on Sunday we left around 1:30 from the winton global yard rd, didn't notice anything unusual around that area at that time i wish we would have a beating would have took place. I have parked in this area quite a bit this year and haven't had any problems yet but thanks for the heads up i will keep my eyes open and leave any valuables at home. THX

Some guys on the pine pass post's, Said to watch for a RED SUV or a RED EXPLORER. Same people were lurking around last year I heard. I hope these jackazzes get caught and get what's coming to them.

Thanks guys good replys,
Yes that is what happen to one guy, his wallet was still in the truck but the credit cards were gone, but he got to a phone before they could charge it up.:D

We ride areas all around Prince George and will be keeping this in mind as we have no use:beer; for these kind of people.
It was a ****ty thing for you guys to get ripped off but thanks for the post and we will all be watching a little closer till someone catches these Theives and gives them a leason they will not soon forget.

Few years back Sledders caught up to the fellow who ripped them off. They were able to catch him because he used a stolen credit card at a beer store. The owner of the card phoned to cancel it and they told him it just had been used, they gave him infromation and it led them to the beer store and demanded servalance footage of the guy using the card. they posted pics around town and led to finding the guy.

We're thinking of doing just that, send some of the boyz out riding and a few stay back and hand out with the defenders :D The ending to the story (i heard) back a few years ago, was after the guys found out who it was they payed him a not so nice visit at his home and beat the **** out of him  not 100% but sounds deserving.

but on a serious note - I am considering setting up a helmet cam hidden in the bushes and pointing at my rig. it should be able to record all day. Won't stop me from getting ripped off but will definitely help in the payback and prevent future incidents by the same perps

i was 1 of the guys and it sounds like something might have to be done again.

we were parked at the Salmon rd. on sunday and they punched the lock on my buddys truck. they didnt get anything from us but i think they got scared off by some sledders that broke down and went back early.

so it sounds like saturday and sunday they went up and down hwy. 97. prolly drove to chetwyn on sat , stayed the night and drove back sun, or vice versa.
