im assuming most stolen in canada go striaght to the reserves. they just busted a large chop shop in a reserve by edmonton.........

That would be too much work for a lot of the inhabitants of some of the reserves I've been to.

The best of luck to you. It's amazing how much nerve some people have. Two years ago my parents borrowed my brothers new phazer for a trip to montana while one of theirs was in the shop. They stopped at fernie on the way down and a younger kid met them in the parking lot and asked if the sled was for sale. My brother had being trying to sell the sled so they started dealing with the potential buyer. He asked for a test drive, drove around the corner on a Fernie street and never came back!! Just drove the sled away!!

The kid was dumb enough though to first give my parents his real name and the police knew he was a problem around town. Luckily the sled was returned a few weeks later. Some people just don't think!

I think that there are more sled and trailer thefts in Canada than there are in the US every year. Major bummer, hope that you find the POS and string him up by the family jewels.

the higher theft rate on sleds in canada might have something to do with the slacker justice system and not many of us pack heat with us here in the north.

i'd love to see these crack heads get caught and dragged to the top of the mtn and left there, barefoot.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I had two sleds stolen from Kelowna on New Years eve. What I have learned is that the RCMP are about as useful as tits on a bull.

That might be one of the reasons there is so much of this going on. Cops would rather spend their time eating donuts and then handing out seatbelt and other traffic tickets than waste their time tracking the real low-life crooks.

I will be on the lookout for your sleds. Sorry to say that the chance of recovery is low.
