The verdict is in, She likes it !

The worry about the wife not liking the Freestyle is all over. After a weekend of boondocking with it she loves it. She was able to climb through the spots where she got stuck going down with her SKS. She was not tired or sore after two days of riding where she would normally only have ridden one with the SKS, and been sore all over. She only got stuck three times in two days that is a lot easier on me. Soooo it looks like I live to ride after all.

I was wondering the other day how this turned out for ya!! Hadn't heard so I figured either she liked it and you were out riding...or she hated it and somehow managed to park it on your chest.

What size motor, and whats the weight.
My wife has been riding my lightweight M8 162 and its just too much for her. I put her on a demo M8 162 (bone stock) and told her it was a shorter track. She said it was much easier to ride, but I could see that it was still way too much for her. She's strong, but only weighs a buck20.
I was thinking M5 141" 1.75 track.

That little sled is a blast and I really feel has saved her being able to ride for a few more years. It is a 550 fan with a 136x16x1.25 track. It weighs 435 lbs. The clutch engages at 2800 rpm's so it doesn't spin the track unless you want it too. It also has wide floation skis and steers easy. I have yet to try it in really deep powder as we had some rain last week and had only about 4" of soft last weekend. I will let you know how it works as soon as possible though.
