So the little rig blew a rod bearing...

Notice Doo dudes... the Rotax on the case!!!

They all fail!!! This rig has never let me down until last monday. It was it's time. Hours of revs and loading and unloading. Not a sign on the pistons of detonation, not a sign of being lean, not a sign of oil shortage. Simple, it has run lots of hours at 6000 + RPM.

Still if it was a Po it would probly still be running...

So, I brought back some not so distant memoires of sled season by blowing up an engine. It should be back up in another 4 - 5 days. The crank is ready, I think the rods are going to be CR 500 rods that should be bullet proof... may come out as a 1050... . I kind of left it to my engine builder. I can't wait... the water is running shallow and the rocks are getting closer together... the temperature is diving and the bugs are thinner. The fish are fatter and I'm going to be greasier... once I get the key piece to bolt back in place!!! Lol.

Glad it blew 1/2 hr float back to the truck, up river in the main channel!!!
