I don't know who was directing for parking for the sellers but the people who were suppose to tell you where to park had no clue, having you back up to someones front bumper to park, get a clue people will need to leave and people need to beable to walk through. just a major clust fu** saturday morning.

if you would help out next year I'm sure you have a different idea on what it take to put on this show, easy to set back and complain where you havent been there........I have helped out for a large number of years, but last week had bypass surgery and could not make it...............:o

I understand they are vounteers, I guess I was more saying that who sets it up should tell them more clearly that you need to beable to walk down the rows. I guess if I didn't pay $25 to sell then I wouldn't complain. it is just a commen sense thing. we parked ourselves and all worked out well

I think it's a joke having to pay. A few years ago it was free to sell anything. I will volunteer next year for heading up the parking crew. It was pretty lame on the 2-3 guys trying to park everyone. They had no clue.

Pay to sell.........

I don't think you should have to pay to sell out in the parking lot! And if they are gonna charge $25 to sell, they should hire some help. I came in a little late they said the lot was full. BS, they just dont want people to park there so they can charge people to sell. Who says the sellers get priority parking? F- that, let it go back to the way it used to be. I went in the back entrance and there was plenty of parking for my car and others too. Someone got greedy and had to get their hands in it. Did anyone buy a $3.25 bottle of pop inside? A whole other story. -00's

Don't want to start a pizzin' match but... those folks in the parking lot do it for nothing. They are the ones that put in the extra effort in our sport in addition to SAWS, WSSA and local clubs. Which by the way account for less than 17% of all registered sleds. So the majority of the other riders go about there day a of sledding thinking everything that happens is magical and trouble free. Give them a break, pay them what they ask or go park down the street where nobody can see you. All money goes to WSSA and the Legal action fund to keep our land ridable.

BTW, nice to see so many of you guys down there.

i go to alot of swap meets all year long i pay over 300 for my spot at the portland car swap meet and very often i dont make my money back .....as i walked around saturday i saw some good deals and some not so good deals and the items that sold were the good deals and people jumped on them....
the only thing i didn't sell i realy wanted to go home with someone else was the daughters lt80 quad and the range tilt trailer ............but all in all it was a good show and for the guys that helped park they did what they could good job.......

people were buying, it was the parking rush in the morning that went bad after that it was all good

Sure I would've liked to have paid less than $25, but after I sold all my warez in 30 minutes I was pretty happy. Apparently I could've asked more money. Oh well, Karma is king. Plus I got to enjoy the rest of the show without worries. Thanks to everyone who made the swap lot happen.

You've could've paid $60 in the swap meet and gotten a space as well as 2 passes to get you in Saturday and Sunday. So I guess you shouldn't complain. We take time out of our weekends for the other enthusiasts.

Thanks to the Volunteers!

I wasnt able to help, so I give props to all that could make it happen. :D

The volunteers were awesome and appreciated by 99% of us...Thank You All.:D

The other 1% can't be pleased!

If I can I will volunteer with bigskins to help explain how the parking should be, it has never been a problem before, it was not explained to the volunteers how the parking should be done, and or they have never been to the snow show before in the parking lot. it does not take a rocket scientist to realize that you don't have people back in to another persons front bumper and park so no one could even walk between the truck and my trailer and if we had to get out we couldn't. I don't bit** about stuff normally but when its a common sense issue give me a break. I do thank the volunteers for helping out. :beer;:beer;

Since paying 25 to sell was a ripoff you probably don't belong to WSSA or SAWS???? You could have bought a spot inside for 60. Also they had a few new people in the lot since a few of the regulars that do it every year could not make it this year. And they do, do it for free.

Patience on Saturday morning also pays, since there are so many people showing up. It's not the biggest show on the West Coast for nothing. This is a very good show to see all the newest stuff available in person before you buy.

I think we just found one of the 3 guilty ones for the parking incident.....

Also just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the whole show, just lose the 3 dope smokers doing the actual rig parking. :)

maybe the 4 of us were the only ones that were affected by this because after we moved the rest of the rows were good. they did disappear right after that though:light:
