So my 09 assault took on another heep of upgrades this fall...
-FTX carbon fibre hood was installed
-A timbersled mt tamer with the fit kit for the 146 rails
-Fox float evols
-Arctic FX wrap
-and last but not least i had the PMS guys install the fix kit
I got my sled out for the first time today, but about 60 miles on. The sled is running better than it ever has! Last yr i was fighting with rpm issues all winter. i was only getting 78-7900 with clutching changes and weight droped and the works. Today i started my ride at about 5500 and ended up in the 8500 range. One the trail up i was pulling 8200!! As i went up the rpms dropped to about 7800-7900 at 8500. Also PMS but the original 08 flash back in my ecu. Im sure as i keep adding miles the rpms will keep going up....at least they should! hah.
The mt tamer worked amazing as well. I was able to find some decent snow and the improvment over stock is night and day! Down the trail wasnt AS noticable as it was once you started climbing and sidehilling. There also is a noticable difference when you play with the coupling knob.
I am very happy with all the mods that i did this fall and very excited to keep racking up the miles.
If there are any question on any of the mods to my sled feel free to say something.
here is the link to my last falls thread with a full list of the mods in addition to this yrs :
