The newest Yamadoo

well i know what i want for my b-day now :D.. very nice setup man.. what does it way ready to ride?.. Is if front heavy or does it balance out good?

This sled uses my RT 1000 skidoo chassis with custom motor mounts. All the steering and trapaziodal strut assembly are Rev parts. All the body panels are my standard Rev CF parts. The gas tank is my standard 15 gallon CF tank which has been modified to clear the turbo and now holds around 13.5 gallons. All the CF parts cost right around 10,000.00. There's about 6,000.00 worth of stock Rev parts and timbersled suspension components. All the rest came from the donor sled that I used. I started with an Alpine front mount from the donor sled and shortened the header pipe to drop the turbo and modified the intercooler to fit behind the steering. In all the sled was fairly easy to do and is quite repeatable.

One of my design goals was a sled that was not nose heavy, but more balanced and easier to manouver in trees and more technical stuff than your average Tapex. If you look at the pics you can see that a lot of the weight is centralised right in front of the rider. In fact, even lifting the front end, it's quite light. I've only had it out a couple times, but it handles very nice, if anything I found myself over correcting a lot.

Sweet Craig I was guessing 475 or less looks like I was close. Can't wait to see it in person big thumbs up! Jason :beer;
