The new boss seats...opinions?

Just got a new seat for my XP.
It looks great, but..

I am not sure about the "cover made in China" thing. I know it is the solution for delivery issues, hope the quality is still there...Anyone have problems with theirs yet?
Also I noticed they have a TON of pockets, which a few are kinda useful for paper...
And the zipper handles, well one fell off already and me pounding on a whoopy trail, I can just picture them rattling away and falling/snapping off.

I am gonna get the fabric zipper handles first of all...

Don't get me wrong, it is a nice light seat, and it seems fantastic.. but will it hold up?

Anyone with some feedback?

i've never had luck with anything with zippers in the snow. got my new 2010 cat seat and its got a zipper, oooohhhhh nnnnnnoooooo!!!!!!!

Nope can't say that I have had any problems with my seat yet, but alsso only have half a day ripping across farmer's field.

Cuso, my buddy got one for his 1000 doo this year...I had the same concerns...lotta zippers for snow build up....I will get back to ya on this one.

Just got mine yesterday and I was a little disappointed in the size of the storage pockets. I thought they would be bigger to at least fit something decent sized in. What I can't figure out on mine is on the large pockets in back it feels like there is a balloon inside the pocket so you can barely fit your fist in there. Yep and for the made in China thing, we'll see how it stands up. I'm hoping this seat had some test time before they turned it out to the masses to test.

Yes so they will pop a hole in the seat and you will have to get a new one.

There is a baloon, a plastic bag to fill the void.
One thing I noticed is that if you put bottles of water in the H2O pockets, it reduces the room for anything else in the main compartment.

Oh well I guess it's better than my REV one where you couldn't even fit a pair of gloves inside.

Do you want to sell your REV boss seat?
I have been thinking of buying the new boss seat but it has too many pockets and looks like it extends to far back on the tunnel to fit the DOO gas can on my short track tunnel, I just want a highrise, light seat without all the bullsh&^ on it, my rev race seat is trashed and everyone selling one of those thinks it is gold or something and wants $500 for it. So who has a seat, 07 summit, boss what you got?

Thistledoo, the seat feels good, looks good, and I got it for a killer deal. There are a few practicalities that I am questioning.

What do you have for a seat? and why do zippers scare you? My jacket has zippers, my backpack has zippers, they don't fail and I can guarantee you they get a lot more use and stress than a seat compartment would. The metal pulls are more a concern for me.

The WRP seat is great, no storage but 100% made in USA and a small tunnel bag is not that pricey and will cary alot more than the Boss will.
