yes they told me 4mm wider and 1mm shorter. proably over 200 miles on 377 looks great.
Have close to 200-miles on my first 377, still looks new other than the belt dust. However, during the first ride with the 377 I felt it slip once as I was crossing an open flat area with about 10-inches of fresh. Was doing a steady 3/4 throttle around 7000-rpm and heard / felt it slip just for a moment. Then during my last ride (Spring time conditions with temp around 35 deg F) my belt was slipping and motor was over-reving (hitting rev-limiter) most of the later part of the ride, and mostly during steep climbs.
Anyone else experiencing these problems???
My sled is an X-154, and I ride from 8200 to 10500-feet. Clickers set to 3.
I threw a 377 on my '07 and found I had to drop the belt so low in the secondary to be able to start the sled (or not creep BADLY at an idle) that it was about 1/16" BELOW the top of the secondary sheaves and was still too wide to have correct belt/sheave clearance on the primary. I took it off and returned it....not sure how others are making it fit without shortening the C-C. ???
I wanted to run one just for grins but have had no problems with the 166, plus it's less $$.
