The Mod Runs!!!!

The pic I posted of dropping the front arm down was what it took to get a LITTLE ski lift after dropping the skid out of the tunnel about 3.5 inches.

The pic also takes into account a 1/2" move back that also took place at the bottom of the front and rear arm mounts ( down and back 1/2").Helps front arm collapse a little easier, rear arm is a little stiffer. Was turned on to this zx trick a few years back by another forum member, can't say if it helped, it didn't hurt either.

My sled setup runs VERY well in deep snow, or I wouldn't have just dropped $3k into a new motor build into a going on 6 yr. old sled from 2 chassis generations ago.

If you built a climber, why the hell would you want more ski lift. When you put it in a foot of snow, if you have any kind of power coming out of that motor you will have plenty of ski lift. Wheelies look cool but hinder real climbing ability, but if you're into looking cool then lower the front torque arm and have ablast.

P.S. NMFH

Not only reason to lower front arm, assumr.:face-icon-small-win
