This deal is bad for the average american, we must pass this bailout.
Look today oil is down 8%, rbob gas is down 8%, the dollar is up, commodities accross the board are down 3%-10% this can't be good for the average american can it? plus we didn't get stuck with a $11,000 dollar bill per household to help those wall street guys keep their Yachts and Caymen Island homes.

imho, this NEEDS to happen (not the bailout)... the companies that are mismanaging themselves need to go Tango Uniform... time to cull the herd by getting rid of the weak... it's gonna hurt, no doubt, but it'll hurt even more later down the road...
This will get ugly!!!! The DOW hit -700 just a bit ago. YIKES!!

This is typical politics, and it couldn't come at a worse time...right before an election. It goes to show that alot of politicians are wimps, and would rather vote no and start pointing fingers, than address the real issue. I don't know everything, but I do know that when peoples complete retirement funds are getting wiped out by this crash, it can't be good. I just know that this is going to affect the Canadian economy as well...and I am sick about it because there is nothing we can do. I have to ask the American citizens...Do you feel you should spend beyond neccessity now or in the near future? I didn't think so. This in itself is crippling to the economy. Don't fool yourselves, if this doesn't pass, the US is headed for seriously troubled times and we are right behind you. JMO

great...they're lying, if they get the money the issue will suddenly go silent, notice how the media has been trying to scare us with this line about how bad it's gonna hurt the middle class if it doesn't pass...all BS....if the stock market crashes that's fine with me, it's run by the biggest crooks in the country and sooner or later they'll get your cash anyway.
